Riverside Inn, Aymestrey

The food was excellent with lots of alternatives. Location: the hotel was really close to a flowing river, rural Herefordshire, Riverside Inn Aymestrey. Thank you, I enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back......  

This is a quaint place to stay in Aymestrey. The location is quiet, 3 km from Church of st Michael. Moreover, it's next to the heart of the city. The restaurant is magnificent and the food is fab.

I experienced a wonderfully comfortable sleep and enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared with locally sourced ingredients, just over 2 km away, and the expansive National Trust's Croft Castle and Parkland, only a short 2.5 km stroll from the inn. This hidden gem captures the essence of a warm and cute stay for travelers who appreciate cozy accommodations and delicious dining options, but the decor could do with a refresh to match the overall charm of the inn.

The pricing is a bit steep for what you get!!! The bathroom mirrors are too low for comfortable use!!! It would be nice if the EV charging stations actually worked without long waits!!!

The hotel's focus on sustainability and locally sourced food created a good dining experience, complemented by comfortable gardens for leisurely walks.

The Garden Double Ensuite features a cozy atmosphere with tasteful decor that adds a homey touch. The layout of the cabin is well thought out.

The exterior of the building has a worn-down look that might deter first impressions. Although showers are functional, a mirror near the sink in the bathroom would greatly improve convenience for shaving and teeth brushing. Breakfast, despite prior expectations, did not meet the mark. The full English served seemed like it had been sitting around, with dried-up elements and a hard fried bread that missed the freshness they promote.

Loved the homemade biscuits and a cozy garden room. Breakfast cereal selection needs improvement.

We stayed in a beautiful garden suite that was quirky and had lovely details, like a mini fridge with fresh water and milk. The garden area had cozy spots to relax. A charming dining setup, perfect for our evening meal and breakfast. The only hiccup was the full English breakfast which could've been fresher, but it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the stay! 😊

We had a fantastic time, especially enjoying our spacious room with a mini fridge and the delicious vegan meals crafted just for us. Relaxing in the lovely garden area while sipping drinks and taking in the beautiful scenery was a highlight. Just a heads up, toiletries weren’t restocked during our stay, but that didn’t spoil our experience at all! 🌿

A fitting option for a weekend vacation in Aymestrey with good price value. The garden area was lovely to relax in. Watch your head on low doors!

A Relaxing Retreat Surrounded by Nature

The tranquil garden was a perfect escape, though the stairs leading there need some attention for safety. The room was cozy but lacked ample hanging space. More vegetarian options would be great, but overall a lovely stay.

We had such an incredible stay! The food was mind-blowingly good, with standout flavors that made every meal a treat. The beautiful view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the cozy atmosphere was just perfect for our getaway. I can't wait to return!

Amazing stay with delicious meals!

The double room was super cozy, and the gardens are just fine, especially by the river. Dinner was a real treat. It's been ages since food tasted that fresh and yummyy! Only bummer was some noise from a nearby road. It was just an awesome getaway.
